All weights and dimensions are approximate.
Our prices are subject to change without notice. All export pricing includes duties, custom brokerage and related charges.
All sales, use, excise and other taxes applicable to a sale shall be paid by the purchaser unless appropriate tax exemption certificates have been submitted to Modhaus.
A minimum 50% deposit is required upon the placement of an order. The balance of payment, including invoice charges not included in our prices, is due prior to shipment. We accept Visa, MasterCard and certified company checks.
At the discretion Modhaus, credit terms may be extended to accredited customers. Credit may be established upon completion and review of a credit application and acceptance of satisfactory trade references.
Our payment terms are Net 30 days from the date of invoice. Orders will not be shipped on accounts with balances over 30 days. A monthly interest charge of 1.5% will be applied on overdue accounts.
All custom orders are subject to a minimum 50% deposit regardless of credit terms. We accept Visa, MasterCard and certified company checks.
Initial orders with Modhaus must be prepaid or shipped on a COD basis.

Once we receive your order, we will provide you with an order confirmation document. Payment will be accepted by Visa, MasterCard and certified company checks.
Minimum order requirements
For order shipments to Canada and the United States, your initial order must be a minimum of $2000. Subsequent orders are not subject to any minimum order requirements. If you ordering for shipment outside of North America, please contact us for more information.
Ordering from the United States
If placing an order from the United States, your order should be sent via fax to (403) 253 - 8393 or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. In addition to the order details listed in the previous “Orders” section, you will also need to include a valid Federal Tax ID number. Payment for orders from the United States will be accepted through Visa or MasterCard.
Ordering from outside North America
We frequently ship products outside of North America. Orders will shipped from our warehouse in Calgary or via full container from our factories in China. Please contact Customer Service for more details.
Unless specified by customer, Modhaus will select a suitable carrier for shipping. If you have a preferred carrier, please let us know when you place your order. For pick-up orders, drivers must have a valid order number before products will be released.
Shipping charges are Cash On Delivery (COD). All shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer and must be fully paid by the customer. Modhaus assumes no responsibility for freight charges, damages that occur during freight or lost goods. Modhaus will not be held liable for delays or failure to ship due to labor disputes, supplier delays, accidents, fires or Acts of God.
Furniture cannot shipped by couriers like FedEx, Canpar or UPS. We do not ship to residential addresses.
All damages must be reported within 7 days of receipt of goods.
Changes or Cancellations
You may change or cancel your order within one week of your original purchase date. If it is beyond this time, change or cancellation fees may be charged to your account. Please contact us for details.
Modhaus packages furniture to fulfill specific orders. Returns will not be accepted under any circumstances.
If you are unable to accept delivery of goods when they are ready for shipping, you may be able to make arrangements for Modhaus to transfer merchandise to storage at customer’s expense. Please contact us for details.
All furniture is given to the carrier and signed for in good condition. At this point, the merchandise becomes the responsibility and property of the customer. Any claims for damages and shortages must be placed with the carrier.
Any claims for manufacturing defects will need to follow our claim procedure. Please contact Customer Service for any claims.
Our furniture and accessories are manufactured in accordance with the highest standards of quality. Products are under warranty to be free from any defects in material or workmanship for one year from the date of shipment. This warranty is subject to the characteristics inherent in the materials used.
During the warranty period, Modhaus reserves the right to repair or replace products found defective. Goods must be returned freight prepaid to the Modhaus warehouse for repair. Repaired or replaced goods wills be shipped back to the customer prepaid or at the customer’s expense. Damage resulting from misuse, negligence, accidents or improper maintenance will not be covered by warranty.
